What is a gable-end conservatory?

A gable conservatory takes its name from the triangular gable at the front of the roof. Unlike a standard pitched roof that slopes to a hip at both ends, the gable-end roof rises straight up and stays vertical at the front, creating a full-height glazed wall of glass facing your garden.

The shape gives the structure a square, symmetrical footprint that echoes Georgian and Edwardian architecture. It is one of the few conservatory styles where the roof itself becomes a design statement.
